Privacy notice
This page explains which personal data W3Live processes through the website w3live.com, for what purposes, and what rights you have. It is provided under Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
Last updated: 18 October 2026.
Who processes the data
The data controller is Fabio Elvidio Operti, trading as W3Live, with registered address at corso San Gottardo 11, 20136 Milan, Italy, VAT no. IT14259910967. For any request about your data, write to info@w3live.com.
What data we process
- Data you send us. When you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, your email address, your company or organisation if you provide it, and the content of your message. The form prepares an email in your own mail program: you are the one who sends it.
- Technical browsing data. The hosting service processes technical data needed for the operation and security of the site, such as the IP address and the date and time of requests. W3Live does not use this data for advertising or profiling purposes.
- Data collected by the Meta pixel, only if you consent. The pages you visit on the site, the submission of the contact form and clicks on the email address, together with technical identifiers of your browser and device and your IP address. They tell us which Facebook and Instagram campaigns bring visits and enquiries.
Please do not include sensitive data in your messages, such as information about health or personal beliefs: we do not need it to reply.
Cookies and data stored in your browser
The site uses two kinds of tools.
Technical tools, always active. To remember the position of the interactive threshold on the opening screen, the site stores a preference in your browser that is used only to restore the view you chose. In the same way it stores your cookie choice, so that it does not ask you on every visit. They do not identify you and do not require consent.
Meta pixel, only with your consent. If you choose “Accept” in the banner, the site loads the pixel of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, which sets the cookies _fbp and, if you arrive from an ad, _fbc, lasting 90 days. Before you choose, and if you choose “Decline”, the pixel is not loaded. Your choice lasts six months, after which we ask again. You can change it at any time from the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of the page: if you withdraw consent, the pixel cookies are deleted.
Why we process it, and on what basis
- To reply to your request and, if you ask, to prepare a proposal. The legal basis is the taking of pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for simple requests for information, our legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- To run the site and keep it secure. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- To measure our advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram and show our ads to interested people. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code), which you can withdraw at any time without any effect on your use of the site.
- To comply with legal obligations. If an engagement follows your request, we process the data needed for administrative, accounting and tax requirements. The legal basis is compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
We do not use your data to send you promotional messages, and we make no automated decisions about you.
If you do not provide the data
Writing to us is optional. Without an email address, however, we cannot reply.
Who can see it
The data is processed by W3Live and by the providers needed to run its email and website, acting as data processors: Aruba S.p.A., which provides the email and the website hosting. We do not sell it and, apart from what the Meta pixel collects with your consent (see below), we do not pass it to third parties for their own purposes.
The website and the mailbox are hosted by Aruba in data centres located in Italy. Messages and hosting technical data are not transferred outside the European Economic Area.
If you consent to the pixel, the data it collects goes to Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, which is joint controller with W3Live for its collection and transmission and, beyond that, processes it as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. Meta may transfer it to Meta Platforms Inc. in the United States, which participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
We keep messages for as long as needed to handle the request and, in any case, no longer than 24 months after the last contact.
If an engagement follows your request, we keep the data needed to manage the relationship for its duration. After that, we keep the documents subject to civil and tax law obligations for the periods set by the applicable legislation. These obligations do not entail keeping all correspondence indiscriminately.
Your rights
In the cases and within the limits set by the GDPR, you can ask to access your personal data and receive a copy, to have it corrected or erased, or to have its processing restricted.
Where the conditions of Article 20 GDPR are met, you can also receive the data you provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and transmit it to another controller.
You can object to processing based on our legitimate interest, on grounds relating to your particular situation.
To exercise your rights, write to info@w3live.com. We reply without undue delay and, as a rule, within one month of receiving the request. If the complexity or number of requests makes an extension necessary, we inform you within the same period and explain the reasons.
If you believe the processing of your data breaches the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali: https://www.garanteprivacy.it/.
